Produces blunt ended PCR
AMP™ Pfu DNA Polymerase, a product of recombinant type DNA polymerase from Pyrococcus furiosus, is a suitable product for high-fidelity PCR amplification. The error rate of the AMP™ Pfu DNA Polymerase is 12 times lower than that of the AMP™ Taq DNA Polymerase due to its intrinsic 3’ to 5’ exonuclease proof-reading activity. It produces blunt ended PCR products and enables blunt cloning directly using a AMP T-Blunt™ PCR Cloning Kit without A-tailing step. Optional 5x Band Doctor™ helps amplification of difficult PCR caused by High GC content or complex template structure.
